TSCF 2010 Malta conference

 SUBMITTING AN ABSTRACT

Potential speakers are advised to read beforehand the page containing overall information for presenters.

They should elaborate an abstract (no full papers) using the submission template below, and send it to Mr Koen Demol, Deputy Secretary-General, Conference Program Committee, at the email address abstracts(at)socialcapital-foundation.org

Abstracts not conforming to the template or sent after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

The Conference Program Committee generally needs at least five business days to evaluate abstracts and respond applicants. An abstract can be: accepted as is, accepted with remarks, to be revised, or rejected. In the second and third cases, a new version must be presented.

Our evaluation criteria for abstracts are:

  • clarity of the hypotheses/objectives,

  • link with the topics of the conference or with the TISR model,

  • appropriateness of methodology/approach,

  • consistency hypotheses/conclusions or goals/results,

  • added value/originality of the findings/conclusions/results,

  • extrapolatability to other value fields,

  • clarity of expression and audience-friendliness.

These criteria are consistent with those used by TSCF for publicationPresentations at our conferences are likely to be published after further elaboration by authors and assessment by TSCF.

We do not expect full papers to be submitted prior to the conference.

Authors who will be on the program are exclusively those who effectively attend the conference (presenters). Only the presenters must be mentioned in your abstract under "summarized profiles of presenters".

Your abstract will form the contract basis of your presentation. The abstract must be carefully written and, if necessary, be revised; there cannot be more than three rounds of reviews. The evaluation and revision of the abstract are intended to ensure the quality and the consistency of the conference, and to prepare your intervention in the best possible conditions. The abstracts selected will be added to the conference book
